Record Collecting in Croydon

A random (sometimes VERY random!) selection of 45s and CDs recently purchased by The Rockabilly DJ and smuggled back into the world-famous studio under the stairs in Croydon. Includes trophies snatched from beneath the hairy noses of those strange, smelly, tweed-wearing perverts who collect English big-band 78s (see picture, taken last week).
Sublime music from Hank and Roy Acuff rubs shoulders with stupid novelty records, skiffle and even some soul. Expect the unexpected!

Way back in 1993, the Legend label from France launched a revolutionary new series of Rockabilly compilation LPs. Named after a classic Mac Curtis song, the six Grandaddy's Rockin' albums are a treasure trove of scarce and obscure rocking music.
Join The Rockabilly DJ as he revisits these fabulous twelve-inchers and spins a stack of rarely-heard bopping tunes.
